The statistics
- An International Coaching Federation survey of coaching clients found that most coaching clients asked for help with time management, career, business and relationships. More than 50% experienced greater self-awareness, higher self confidence, improved goal setting and results. 40% felt it enhanced communication skills. Over 50% said they had a more balanced life. More than 25% felt that coaching had helped them increase their income.
- 98.5% said their investment was well worth it.
- The International Personnel Management Association research into training and development showed that employee productivity, following training, increased by just over 22% whereas training combined with coaching produces an increase in productivity of 88%.
- A Metrix Global Study of a Fortune 500 company determined that coaching produced a return on investment (ROI) of 529%.
- Manchester, Inc. study reported a return of $6 for every dollar spent on coaching. Improvement was made in bottom-line profitability, productivity, quality, organizational strength, customer service, reducing company complaints, retaining executives, and cost reductions.
- The International Coach Federation reported that individuals experience the following outcomes as a result of working with a coach:

- study completed in 2001 by Triad, reports an almost ten to one return on investment rate for coaching services. Key findings included company savings of $100,000 in the form of retained personnel, $250,000 increased sales results due to managers working more effectively with their direct reports, $100,000 savings in reduced erosion in customer based revenues and customer satisfaction.
